Have you found your sweet spot?

The Past Six Years_DeepSouth2Have you found your sweet spot? In the musical world, the sweet spot of the concert hall or venue is where the sound mix sounds perfect. In general terms, it’s where everything lines up just perfectly.

You’ll know you’re in your sweet spot or “genius zone” when you are doing what you love for people or clients you love, in a way that you love. Work seems effortless and clients and opportunities just seem to line up.

Not there yet? You actually may be closer than you think. The problem may be that you haven’t claimed your true gift.

I seem to have a knack for finding talent and potential. Though my 3 businesses are very different, my role could be described as a “talent scout”. Ok, in my other business, Next Stage Entertainment, I really am one but work with me here.

I often find people who have incredible gifts and talents but they don’t seem to realize it or understand how far they can go. To them, it’s always been a hobby and they never really took it very seriously. Or maybe someone discouraged them along the way.

Maybe they thought their gift was too weird or that it wasn’t very valuable. So, they hid it. You were given your gifts for a reason. Not claiming them can cause you to feel stuck. Take it from one who knows.

Keeping it real

Are you still trying to find your sweet spot? Are you stuck or just not where you want to be? Are you ignoring people who are trying to help you? If so, here’s a video I did last night that might resonate with you: Why You’re Still Stuck.
